Published January 15, 2026. Last updated May 24, 2026.
Every ranking is computed from our live dataset — not hand-picked, not sponsored. Flight prices come from Aviasales and Booking.com. Hotel rates come from Booking.com. Daily spending budgets come from cost-of-living data tuned for tourists. We add them together, multiply the nightly figures by 7, and sort ascending. That's the list.
Because the dataset updates daily, the ranking you see below may change tomorrow. That's the point — cheap travel windows are transient, and knowing when one opens is half the battle.
How we calculated this
Each ranking combines live flight data (Aviasales + Booking.com), hotel rates (Booking.com), and cost-of-living-derived daily budgets. Total = flight + (hotel nightly × 7) + (daily spend × 7). Full details on our methodology page.

How do you calculate 7-day trip cost?
7-day trip cost equals the round-trip flight fare from New York, plus the average nightly hotel rate multiplied by 7 nights, plus the average daily spending budget multiplied by 7 days. Flight and hotel prices come from live data and are compared against rolling averages. Daily budgets are based on cost-of-living data for each destination and cover food, local transit, and activities.
